KUALA LUMPUR - Several selected rail stations in Klang Valley will be extending their operations until 1.30am this Saturday.

This, Rapid Rail Sdn Bhd said was to meet the needs of residents who were making final preparations ahead of the Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration.

In a statement, it said the stations involved were its Light Rapid Transit (LRT) Kelana Jaya line (Masjid Jamek, KLCC), LRT Ampang/Sri Petaling line (Masjid Jamek), Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) Kajang line (Bukit Bintang) and Monorail (Bukit Bintang, Raja Chulan, Medan Tuanku and Chow Kit).

"Connecting stations will also extend their operations to transport passengers to their destination.

"Other stations which are not mentioned will end its operations as per usual. However, passengers could still exit from the stations to continue their journey," it said, today.

It also said that the LRT 11 feeder bus service which involved six stations on the Ampang/Sri Petaling LRT line that were closed since April 2, will also be extended until 1.30am.

Rapid Rail advised passengers to use a Touch 'N Go card or buy a return travel token in advance to ease their journey.

The Klang Valley transit rail system operator also reminded users to wear face masks as it was still mandatory when using public transports.
