PUTRAJAYA - There has been no order for Human Resources Minister V. Sivakumar to go on leave due to the investigations conducted by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission's (MACC) on the approval of foreign workers case.

DAP secretary-general Anthony Loke Siew Fook said the government is monitoring the development of the case.

"Currently no leave order from the Prime Minister has been given to Sivakumar," he said in a press conference at his ministry on Monday.

He said the Batu Gajah MP was not listed as a suspect in the case.

"He gave his cooperation as a minister," he said.

Sivakumar who was the DAP deputy secretary-general was reportedly present at the MACC headquarters on Sunday to record his statement regarding the claims that he had received cash from a businessman who was arrested by the MACC along with two of his senior officers.
