JOHOR BAHRU - The police have been asked to investigate and prevent a sex party dubbed the "Gang Bang JB Party" that is allegedly scheduled to be held at a new time and date at a secret location.

Johor Angkatan Muda Keadilan (AMK) chief Mohamad Taufiq Ismail said this was because based on the AMK's investigation, the organiser of the sex party had announced that they will proceed with the immoral event despite receiving criticisms and objections from various parties.

"The viral post of the "Gang Bang JB Party" poster has been deleted, but the (organiser's) Twitter admin informed that the event will still proceed but at a different time and date at a secret location.

"Johor AMK hopes that the police can take immediate action by tracking down the organiser including other parties involved (in organising the party). We hope the event can be stopped," he said.

He said this after lodging two police reports at the South Johor Bahru District Police Headquarters (IPD), Larkin, here, yesterday over the sex party issue and the use of the word Allah.

On Wednesday, State Islamic Religious Affairs Committee chairman Mohd Fared Mohd Khalid confirmed that the Johor State Islamic Religious Department (JAINJ) had been instructed to take immediate action against the event organiser.

Fared issued the statement after the invitation card for the event initially scheduled to be held between 4pm to 9pm on June 20 circulated on Twitter.

Commenting further, Taufiq said the event must be stopped as it will damage the image of Malaysia as an Islamic country in addition to having a negative impact on youths.
