SHAH ALAM - A few photos shared by former Umno Vice President, Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein with his friend, Tan Sri Noh Omar grabbed the attention of netizens.

The Sembrong Member of Parliament who is currently suspended from the party for six years took the opportunity to visit Noh in Tanjong Karang, who is said to be joining Perikatan Nasional (PN).

"From Sembrong to Tanjong Karang, old friends are always remembered. With my bro, Noh Omar," Hishamuddin had posted on Facebook.

Despite being suspended from the party, Hishamuddin is still active as a Member of Parliament and is often seen in his constituency.

On Monday, he chastised the actions of some party leaders who sarcastically and jokingly invited former members to attend the Umno (PAU) General Assembly.

He explained that the action reflects the mentality and thinking of the current UMNO leadership and it does not directly help the party's efforts to restore the party's position in winning the hearts of members at the grassroots level.

Meanwhile, Noh, who is also the former Selangor Umno Chairman, was dismissed from the party on January 27

He previously stated that he wanted to ensure the Tanjong Karang constituency becomes a PN stronghold, and helping the coalition win the Selangor state election.
