JOHOR BAHRU - Former Umno leaders subjected to disciplinary actions, suspended or sacked are asked not to conspire with outsiders or enemies simply to discredit the party.

Johor Umno secretary Datuk Abdul Halim Suleiman said the group should not even interfere with matters relating to Umno.

“Stop becoming parasites to bring down Umno. If you’ve been sacked, do not interfere with Umno matters. Don’t play games and voice opinions after no longer being with Umno.

“Do not work together with external parties or Umno enemies. Your time is over, it is time to choose either loyalty towards the party or self-importance,” he said in a statement on Tuesday.

The Tebrau Umno division chief said the group was reminded not to forget Umno’s contributions towards making them successful leaders previously.

“Repay Umno’s contributions by aiding in strengthening the party instead of forgetting yourself wanting to destroy the party quietly.

“Support the leaders chosen in the previous election meeting as the party supported you until you get to where you were before this,” he said.

He stated that Umno could no longer be lenient towards the traitors because the party had suffered enough injuries and suffering as a result of the actions of the enemies within the party.
