Selangor unveils Education Strategic Action Plan to foster continuous education

SUBANG JAYA - The Selangor government has unveiled the Education Strategic Action Plan, aimed at nurturing a continuously educated generation and providing limitless opportunities.

Selangor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari, who inaugurated the programme at the Grand Dorsett Subang Jaya, expressed his excitement to witness the collaborative efforts that offer cooperative education programs, career opportunities, and student sponsorships.

"Today, we are launching the Education Strategic Action Plan along with the new Yayasan Selangor logo.

"We are excited to witness the collaborative efforts that offer cooperative education programs, career opportunities, and student sponsorships," Amirudin said as he delivered the programme's keynote address.

He also emphasised the importance of education as the gateway to building a well-educated generation.

"The responsibility of fostering an educated population should be continuous and embedded as a permanent and constructive cultural practice," he added.

Meanwhile, Yayasan Selangor chief executive officer Eddie Ahmad Khodzali announced that Yayasan Selangor has been entrusted with leading the Selangor Education Standing Committee this year.

"In addition, Yayasan Selangor is proud to unveil our new logo as part of our branding initiative.

"The new logo serves as a symbol that strengthens the identity of Yayasan Selangor," he said.

Eddie Ahmad reiterated Yayasan Selangor's commitment to fulfilling social obligations towards children.

"We will diligently plan and implement education programmes in line with the vision entrusted to us by the Selangor Menteri Besar.

"We are dedicated to ensuring that no child is deprived of education due to economic constraints within their families.

"Our aim is to provide fair and equal access to education for all children, guided by the motto 'Selangor Maju Bersama - No One Left Behind'," he added.
