Man shot dead at Bandar Sunway mobile shop

Subang Jaya- A man was shot by two men in a mobile shop at Bandar Sunway here on Wednesday.
Subang Jaya district police chief Assistant Commissioner Wan Azlan Wan Mamat said he received information on the incident from a man who came to the Bandar Sunway police station information desk at 1.35pm.
He said as police arrived at the scene the 32-year-old victim who had previous criminal records of theft was lying down in a bloodied state from the gunshot wound.
"Early investigations found a group of men suspected to be three suspects had entered the premise.
"Two of them fired shots in the victim's direction," he said in a statement on Wednesday.
The victim was declared dead as he arrived at the Serdang Hospital.
Wan Azlan said the forensic team present at the scene found two bullet casings, one bullet fragment, a bullet, and a pair of slippers at the scene.
"Police are still investigating the victim's involvement in black market activities and are awaiting the post-mortem process ," he said.
He said investigations were conducted under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.
The police urged the public with any information on the case to come forward and provide information

He stated the identity of those providing information will be kept private.
