SHAH ALAM - He was known as the fiery youth with no fear of going against authorities at a time when protesters were thrown in jail for speaking up.
This was in 2014 when Adam Adli was sentenced to 12 months in prison on charges of sedition in relation to a speech he made at a post-election forum, where he urged people to take to the street to protest the widely contested election results.
He missed out on education as the university he was studying allegedly said he was tarnishing the university's name and disturbing public peace and safety.
Today, Adam is the deputy youth and sports minister.
His aim is to mobilise youths, empower them and give them the right voice thet deserve for their future.
He speaks to Sinar Daily's Politically Frank on his plans during state elections and the potential mutual benefit between Pakatan Harapan and Barisan Nasional for Malaysia.
