SHAH ALAM - MyCreative Ventures agency is looking for the best solution to help local artists and vendors who have yet to receive payment following the immediate cancellation of Good Vibes Festival.

Communications and Digital Minister Fahmi Fadzil informed that MyCreative Ventures has already contacted those involved and will come up with a solution shortly.

"We have contacted the vendors and local artists, international performers have been paid, but not local artists.

"MyCreative Ventures has contacted the local food vendors and artists on how to help them, and I will leave it to them to inform us of the assistance that can be given," he told reporters at the Selangor Civil Community Trust Presentation Ceremony at Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) here, on Sunday.

Fahmi had previously ordered the two-day Good Vibes Festival performance to be immediately cancelled following the actions of British group The 1975's vocalist, Matty Healy, who disparaged Malaysia's laws regarding lesbians, gays, bisexuals and transgender people (LGBT).
