Amirudin warns public of slanderous tactics ahead of election finale

GOMBAK - Selangor Pakatan Harapan (PH) chairman Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari has warned the Selangor public to be wary of the slanderous tactics that will be used by opponents in the final moments of the election campaigns.
Amirudin said that it is only natural for opponents to try to attack PH and Barisan Nasional (BN), but that legal action will be taken against those who spread false information.
"They have been trying to attack us since the beginning, but none of their attacks have landed.
"Now, at the last moments, they will spread and repeat slander," he said.
Amirudin said that PH and BN are committed to ensuring unity and stability in Selangor, and that they will continue to work hard to bring benefits to the people.
"Don't worry, I'm confident in the real situation.
"We will make the right decision. You can continue slandering, but Insya-Allah you will not be free from our lawyers sending claims," he added.
Amirudin urged the Selangor public to vote on Aug 12 to ensure that PH and BN remain governing the state.
He made these remarks during the Grand Finale Kita Selangor ceramah at Keramat, here yesterday.
Also present during the ceremony were Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof, DAP secretary-general Anthony Loke Siew Fook and Selangor PH and BN top leadership. - AWANI
