KAJANG - Fire and Rescue Department personnel rescued a homeless man after getting trapped in a 2.44-metre drain on Jalan Tun Abdul Aziz here earlier today.
Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant director Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar said the public alerted the fire department at 8.24am.

"A team of firefighters from the Kajang Fire and Rescue Station rushed to the scene and rescued the victim, a local man in his 40s, who was discovered by members of the public in the vicinity," he said in a statement today.
The victim was extricated from the drain in about 10 minutes and was not injured.
