Wave Palestinian flag as sign of solidarity – Pas

Kuala Terengganu - Pas urges Muslims to wave the Palestinian flag as a sign of solidarity for the Palestinian people who were victims of the cruel Israel regime.
Its president Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang said the public was urged to wave the Palestinian flag in their homes, premises and vehicles as a sign of support for those who were oppressed.
"The people of Palestine in the Gaza Strip are facing vicious attacks and bombings by the Israel Zionist regime forces.
“The deaths among Palestinians (at the time) have reached 510 individuals including 91 children while 2,750 individuals were injured including 244 children.
“Palestine refugees who lived in the Gaza Strip shelters have reached 137,000 individuals or 90 per cent of its capacity,” he said in a Facebook post on Tuesday.
The latest conflict in Palestine involved Gaza’s authority, Hamas and the Israel regime since Oct 7 had resulted in the loss of thousands of lives on both sides.
The Malaysian government on Monday announced it would channel aid of RM1 million immediately towards the Palestine People Humanitarian Trust Fund (AAKRP) operated by the Foreign Ministry following the violent conflicts and attacks on the Gaza Strip.
Hadi said the Israel Zionist regime had launched violent airstrikes and bombings on the Gaza Strip cities causing major destruction including the bombing of mosques, schools and hospitals.
He said United States President Joe Biden ordered the largest US Navy aircraft carrier and its accompanying warships to immediately depart for West Asia near Israel for any possibilities.
“Israel’s Defence Ministry had also ordered a complete siege to be established on the Gaza Strip with no electricity, food and petroleum.
“On the basis of faith and humanity towards our brothers and sisters in Palestine, I call on all Muslims to wave the Palestine flags in homes, premises and vehicles.
“This is to show that the people of the nation stood in support of Palestine who are facing the cruel Israel regime,” he said.
