Umno supreme council meeting: Will Isham Jalil be the focus?

KUALA LUMPUR - The meeting of Umno's Supreme Council at Menara Dato’ Onn, World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur (WTCKL) has become the centre of attention tonight.
Several Umno leaders were seen arriving at the Umno Headquarters' compound since late afternoon.
Among them were Umno Vice Presidents; Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin, Datuk Seri Johari Abdul Ghani; Members of the Supreme Council (MKT); Datuk Mohd Sharkar Shamsudin, Datuk Mohamad Alamin, and Datuk Seri Dr Shamsul Anuar Nasarah; Kedah Umno Chairman Datuk Seri Mahdzir Khalid; and Perak Umno Chairman Datuk Saarani Mohamad.
It is learnt that the meeting, chaired by Umno President Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, was expected to make several decisions.
Possibly, the issue involving Umno MKT member Isham Jalil, who openly 'opposed' the party president, would also be discussed.
Meanwhile, when asked about the developments of tonight's meeting, Shamsul Anuar said, "Let's wait until the meeting is over, then I'll comment."
