SHAH ALAM - Police are still investigating the cause of the neck injury sustained by the late Zayn Rayyan Abdul Matiin following the autopsy conducted at Sungai Buloh Hospital's Forensic Unit on Thursday.

Selangor Police Chief Datuk Hussein Omar Khan said that so far the investigation was still being carried out to find out cause of the victim's death.

"The autopsy which was carried out for five hours found that there were indeed injuries on the victim's neck, and several other body parts.

"However, it cannot be directly ascertained whether the impact was caused by a concussion or anything that resulted in the victim's death because it is still under investigation," he said when contacted by Sinar on Thursday.

Hussein said his team would re-record the statements of Zayn Rayyan's parents following the results of the autopsy.

"We will re-record the testimony of the victim's mother and father regarding the incident.

"In addition, a special team was also established to carry out the investigation," he said.
