The matter was confirmed by Bukit Aman Criminal Investigation Department (CID) deputy director Datuk Rusdi Mohd Isa.

"The unit has finished recording his (Kit Siang's) testimony at 11am this morning," he told Sinar, today.

Rusdi added that the public was also reminded to always be attentive to sensitive issues and not make any statements that could affect the peace of the country.

Among them were newly appointed Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Law and Institutional Reform) M. Kulasegaran, Kepong MP Lim Lip Eng and Bukit Gasing assemblyman Rajiv Risyakaran.

Sinar on Monday reported that an investigation was carried out regarding the content of Kit Siang's writing in the limkitsiang.com blog on Nov 30, 2023, which touched on Constitutional issues regarding the appointment of the Prime Minister of Malaysia.
