AWANG is confident that no one is questioning Bossku's right to seek pardon. Or the right of the Pardons Board to make a decision. But this case is not trivial.

It involved the reputation and integrity of the country and its leader.

The impact is on Tuk Seri PMX (Anwar) himself. Not a day goes by without PMX talking about fighting corruption and good governance.

The people supported him.

In the fight against corruption, he did not just go after small fries but also the big fish. It was rumoured that these big fish were previously untouchable and immune.

But PMX bulldozed through. Recently, MACC took action against the children of a former prime minister and finance minister.

The people were able to understand that he appointed someone who had a corruption case as the Deputy Prime Minister. But the people were puzzled by how there could be a DNAA for that individual.

The people supported PH because PMX wanted to fight corruption to the core. PH's attack during the GE15 campaign was about corruption in the government at the time.

The number one issue was the 1MDB case. The people trusted PMX to clean up corruption. Make sure 1MDB doesn't happen again.

During Tuk Seri Ismail's time, he allowed his boss in the party to go to jail. Imagine the anger of party members towards him. The victim was himself.

Do not just judge him by the outside which seemed weak, but rather look at his strong principles. Awang salutes Ismail!
