SHAH ALAM - A video of road users making illegal u-turns believed to have occurred on Lingkaran Tengah Utama (LTU) expressway in Raub, Pahang has sparked criticism, prompting widespread debate over road safety from the public.

In the video, road users were seen making u-turns on the expressway and driving against traffic to avoid the heavy traffic ahead.

The driver who recorded the video also did the same.

Social media users commented on the video saying that the drivers were reckless and putting the lives of other road users in danger by committing such acts.

One social media user wrote that it was foolish of the driver to have not abided by the road rules.

"When people tell you that you are stupid, you would get angry, but you did not even follow the law. That’s ridiculous," @dnc3456 wrote.

Meanwhile, some social media users directed offensive comments towards Kelantanese, making generalisations that they lacked courtesy and did not follow the rules on the road.

It was reported that the Raub police were currently tracking down the road users who made the illegal u-turns on the LTU expressway in the viral video.
