This December, Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) is sprinkling some holiday magic with a twist of timeless fantasy, transforming into a mesmerising wonderland inspired by Lewis Carroll’s beloved classic, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.

Themed ‘Alice’s Adventures: A Magical Christmas,’ the festive extravaganza, created in collaboration with the British Library, offers travelers an enchanting blend of holiday cheer and whimsical nostalgia.

From Dec 1 to Dec 31, visitors to KLIA can immerse themselves in a dreamy experience starting with the ‘Gigantic Tea-Cup Ride,’ a nod to Alice’s memorable tea party with the Mad Hatter and the March Hare.

The whimsical journey continues through the vibrant and hypnotic ‘Rabbit Hole Kaleidoscope’ and culminates in the picturesque ‘Queen’s Rose Tunnel’, a stunning photo spot inspired by the Queen’s Croquet-Ground adorned with lush red roses.

But the magic does not stop at KLIA. The festive Wonderland spirit spreads to Penang, Kota Kinabalu, Kuching and Langkawi International Airports, promising a season filled with awe and joy for travelers across Malaysia.

Malaysia Airports Senior General Manager of Commercial Services, Hani Ezra Hussin, shared her excitement about this year’s theme.

She highlighted the collaboration with the renowned British Library, sharing that Malaysia Airports is delighted to bring the enchanting tale of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland to life at KLIA, blending the magic of Christmas with the timeless allure of this beloved story.

“This classic tale, with its nostalgic appeal for adults and creative, whimsical allure for children, is the perfect theme to captivate families traveling together.

“We wanted to create an experience that transports travellers into the imaginative world of Wonderland, where Mad Hatters, White Rabbits and Cheshire Cats lead the way to ever-lasting memories.

“By choosing Alice in Wonderland, we invite everyone to experience the story that has entranced generations, a journey that celebrates curiosity, adventure and the thrill of discovery,” she said.

To make the season even more magical, Malaysia Airports has rolled out special promotions in collaboration with Maybank, offering holiday shoppers plenty of reasons to celebrate:
