MALAYSIA'S No 1 Digital City, i-City has unveiled its latest awe-inspiring attraction—Sky i-City, a 60-metre-tall structure that promises to redefine adventure and sightseeing in Selangor.

The newly launched Sky i-City is already making waves as the ultimate destination for thrill-seekers and urban explorers alike.

At the heart of this towering marvel is an observation deck with a fully transparent glass floor, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the Klang Valley skyline.

For those looking to amplify the excitement, the 600-metre glass slide provides a thrilling ride through loops and twists, all while showcasing the city’s stunning vistas.

This striking landmark, adorned with energy-efficient LED lights, adds a futuristic flair to i-City’s already iconic skyline.

As Selangor gears up for Visit Selangor Year 2025 and Visit Malaysia Year 2026, Sky i-City is poised to become a must-visit attraction, further cementing i-City's reputation as a premier tourism hub.

A HUB OF ENTERTAINMENT AND SUSTAINABILITY

Sky i-City is the latest addition to i-City's diverse lineup of attractions, which includes the ever-popular SnoWalk (with its frosty -8°C climate), the Digital Sport Arena, MySports and the internationally acclaimed City of Digital Lights.

Visitors can also unwind at DoubleTree by Hilton i-City or Wyndham Garden i-City, making it a comprehensive destination for leisure, adventure, and relaxation.

With these offerings, i-City is expected to attract 5 million visitors in 2025, significantly boosting Selangor’s economy, where tourism contributes 26.5 per cent to the state’s Gross domestic product (GDP).

To support Visit Malaysia Year 2026, i-City targets key international markets, including the Middle East, Singapore, India and China, aligning with Malaysia’s goal of welcoming 35.6 million international tourists and generating RM147.1 billion in revenue.

Beyond its cutting-edge attractions, i-City is committed to sustainable tourism.

i-City Group marketing director Monica Ong emphasised the importance of combining innovation with environmental responsibility.

“Sky i-City is more than just an attraction—it reflects our focus on sustainable development and innovation.

“The energy-efficient LED lighting not only enhances its visual appeal but also reduces carbon emissions and electricity consumption, aligning with our commitment to minimising environmental impact," she said.
