MOXY Hotel Putrajaya's Lepak Bazaar 2.0 at their Three.6.5 restaurant is set to be a culinary adventure this Ramadan. Sinar Daily was given a special preview as to what Malaysians can expect in March.

From the moment I stepped in, the vibrant atmosphere and the sheer variety of food stalls promised a delightful evening, and it certainly delivered. This wasn't just your average hotel buffet; it was a full-blown food festival.

The number of stations was impressive, showcasing a fantastic mix of local favourites, viral hits, and Western comfort food. I was immediately drawn to the bustling live cooking stations.

The popiah (spring rolls) and murtabak were freshly made and utterly delicious, the chefs skillfully preparing each one to order. The pasta section offered a customisable experience, while the noodle station had a fragrant broth that was simply irresistible – especially the special mee hiris, something totally new to me.

And let's not forget the sizzling satay station, where the aroma of perfectly grilled skewers filled the air, and the impressive lamb station, showcasing succulent cuts of meat cooked to perfection. Seafood lovers were also well catered for with a dedicated BBQ station offering fresh prawns and squids grilled to order.

But the real star of the show for me was the Gulai Kawah station. They had four different types! The lamb curry was rich and aromatic, the stingray asam pedas, while the gulai chicken and daging tetel (beef tendon) options were equally tempting. Paired with fragrant nasi hujan panas (fragrant rice), it was a truly satisfying experience.

There was also a fun viral option – loaded nachos, and it was well worth the taste.

The traditional Ramadan staples were also given due attention. The lemang and ketupat station was a highlight, especially the unique lemang pulut hitam (black glutinous rice) and my all-time favourite ketupat palas.

Meanwhile, the drinks selection was a party in itself! With around eight different options, there was something for everyone. My personal favourites were the refreshing kurma (date) juice and the tangy roselle juice.

There was also the Ramadan staple - the sirap bandung, generously loaded with cincau (grass jelly) and biji selasih (basil seeds), was the perfect sweet ending to a savoury meal.

The fasting month wouldn’t be completed without a sweet ending and the lavish dessert spread does not disappoint. Where do I even begin? It was a sugar lover's paradise.

From nostalgic childhood biscuits and an assortment of kerepek (local chips) to a wide array of kuih muih Melayu (Malay traditional cakes) - the onde-onde were particularly good - there was an abundance of sweet treats. Cakes, jellies and delicious ice cream with a multitude of sprinkles were all on offer.

And for the ultimate indulgence, a chocolate fountain with marshmallows and waffles for dipping! Fret not, those who wants to go the healthier route, fruits was also an abundance.

I also appreciated the inclusion of smaller bites like the cute mini burgers and flavourful chicken wings, perfect for those wanting a lighter option.

Overall, the Lepak Bazaar 2.0 was well-worth the money. The variety and quality of the food, and the vibrant atmosphere made it a must-visit.
