Man killed by housemate in Sungai Buloh - Police investigation underway
Police also seized a knife believed to have been used by the suspect in the stabbing.

SUNGAI BULOH – A man was killed, believed to have been stabbed by his housemate, in an incident at Kampung Kubu Gajah, Sungai Pelong on Wednesday.
Sungai Buloh District Police Chief Superintendent Mohd Hafiz Muhammad Nor said the police received an emergency call through the District Police Headquarters (IPD) Control Centre (DCC) at 11.26pm.
He said the information received was regarding a fight that had occurred at a house, prompting a team of police officers to be dispatched to the scene.
“Upon arrival, officers found two local men in the living room of the house. One of them, a 33-year-old man, was found unconscious and lying on the floor with a stab wound to the left side of his chest,” he said in a statement on Thursday.
He added that the other man, believed to be the 40-year-old suspect, was also at the scene and was immediately detained for further investigation.
“Medical personnel from Sungai Buloh Hospital arrived at 12.01am and confirmed that the victim had died at the scene.
“Initial investigations revealed that both individuals were housemates and had only recently arrived from Kelantan three days ago,” he said.
Police also seized a knife believed to have been used by the suspect in the stabbing.
“The victim’s body has been sent to the Forensic Department of Sungai Buloh Hospital for a post-mortem examination.
“The suspect was brought to the Shah Alam Magistrate’s Court for a remand application, and the court has granted a six-day remand for further investigation,” he added.
Mohd Hafiz said the case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.
