A team from the Selayang Fire and Rescue Station (BBP) was immediately deployed to the location.

GOMBAK – A woman cheated death after a collapsed structure from the East Coast Rail Link (ECRL) project crashed onto her car along the Lingkaran Tengah 2 Expressway (MRR2) in Batu Caves, with members of the public rescuing her before emergency responders arrived.
The victim was pulled out of the crushed vehicle by members of the public just minutes before the emergency teams reached the scene on Tuesday.

According to the Selangor Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) Assistant Director of Operations Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar, the department received an emergency call at 1.47pm.
A team from the Selayang Fire and Rescue Station (BBP) was immediately deployed to the location.
“The first engine arrived at 2.14pm and the operations commander reported that there was a collapsed ECRL structure that had crushed a Suzuki Swift car.
“However, the victim had already been rescued by the public before the firefighters arrived,” he said.
The operation involved seven personnel, supported by a Fire Rescue Tender (FRT) engine and an Emergency Medical Rescue Services (EMRS) unit.
No other victims were reported in the incident and further investigations into the cause of the collapse were handed over to the relevant authorities.
