Hamzah challenges Bersatu to sack leaders, members supporting him
"That would be the best way."

PUTRAJAYA – Former Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) deputy president Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin has challenged the party to expel leaders and members who continue to support him.
Hamzah, who is also the Opposition leader said such action would be better than using threats to prevent the group from continuing to back him.
"If that is what Bersatu thinks is best, then just expel them. That would be the best way.
"Then it won’t be difficult and journalists won’t have to ask me about it anymore. Just sack them, what’s so difficult?" he said when met at the Opposition leader’s breaking-of-fast event here on Monday.
Among those present at the event were Bersatu vice-president Datuk Seri Dr Ronald Kiandee and Bersatu Srikandi chief Datuk Mas Ermieyati Samsuddin.
Previously, Kiandee and Mas Ermieyati were reported to have been issued show-cause letters by Bersatu’s disciplinary board.
They were seen supporting the Larut MP when they attended a Direction and Political Reset briefing a day after Hamzah was removed from his position as Bersatu deputy president on Feb 13.
