'You divorced us, now you want the house too?' – Peja mocks Pas
Although he did not name anyone directly, the remarks were widely seen as targeting Pas, which had previously announced the end of its political cooperation with Bersatu but still wants to remain under the Perikatan Nasional (PN) coalition.

SHAH ALAM - Bersatu vice-president Datuk Seri Ahmad Faizal Azumu has taken a swipe at a party that ended ties with its political ally but still wants to remain in the same 'house.'
Although he did not name anyone directly, the remarks were widely seen as targeting Pas, which had previously announced the end of its political cooperation with Bersatu but still wants to remain under the Perikatan Nasional (PN) coalition.
In a Facebook post on Saturday, Ahmad Faizal, better known as Peja, said a party that has chosen to sever ties with its former ally should not expect to continue enjoying the same political platform.
“The divorce is already final, but now you want the house too? Really? Aren’t you embarrassed? Tell the truth.
“Wait. Let me cover my not-so-handsome face. Even if I’m not handsome, at least I know shame,” he said.
On Friday, Bersatu information chief Datuk Tun Faisal Ismail Aziz reportedly said Pas should leave PN and form a new coalition using its own logo and branding.
He claimed Pas had never been fully committed to PN and had also engaged in political negotiations outside the coalition.
According to him, Pas had repeatedly expressed its desire to revive Muafakat Nasional with Umno.
Ahmad Faizal further criticised Pas, accusing the party of becoming overly infatuated with a 'new lover' and starting to find fault with its former partner.
“Once you start seeing another woman, you begin looking for flaws in your wife. You’re so obsessed with the new lover that even her farts smell pleasant to you,” he quipped.
He said that if a relationship could no longer continue, the matter should first be discussed properly.
According to Ahmad Faizal, major decisions should not be made abruptly.
“If you no longer like your wife, sit down and talk first. At least give some notice.
“You shouldn't have lunch together one day and then suddenly pronounce divorce out of nowhere,” he said.
Ahmad Faizal also touched on reports of a party wanting to adopt a new name, reminding them that any new name must first be officially registered before it can be used.
“The new lover wants to change her name, they say. The future husband has already picked a new one. Good for them. May it bring blessings.
“But if you want to use a new name, remember one thing - don’t forget to register it first,” he added.
