Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim arrived home today after a one-day visit to Turkiye to express Malaysia's commitment to helping its people affected by the earthquake that hit the republic recently. Also present, Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Zambry Abdul Kadir and Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Sabah, Sarawak Affairs and Special Functions) Datuk Amrizan Mohd Ali. - BERNAMA

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim taking a first-hand look at the aftermath of earthquake during his visit to the Malaysian Rescue Operation Centre in Nurdagi, Wednesday. A total of 140 personnel of SMART team, Firemen and Rescuers and Malaysian Civil Defence Force are involved in the earthquake rescue mission in southern Turkiye. The 7.8 Richter scale earthquake hit Kahramanmaras, southern region of Turkiye last Monday also affected several areas in Syria.- BERNAMA
