A Batu Pahat Magistrate's Court has issued a two-day remand order against the parents of a six-year-old boy who was severely injured after allegedly being slashed in Kampung Parit Nipah on Monday.

The parents of the six-year-old boy who was slashed by a knife at his home in Parit Raja yesterday have been arrested today to assist in investigations.

Batu Pahat district police chief ACP Shahrulanuar Mushaddat Abdullah Sani said the boy was still at the Sultanah Nora Ismail Hospital for further treatment.

As such, he said the Malaysian Seismic Hazard Map, developed by JMG in collaboration with the Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia), local universities, and related technical agencies, is currently being updated.
