National lawn bowl champion Nor Farah Ain Abdullah was named the National Sportswoman

The National Sports Council (NSC), in a statement today, said the other nominees for the Sportsman of the Year award are wushu exponent Wong Weng Soon, weightlifter Aniq Kasdan and silat athlete Abdul Latif Maxzakir.

Critics and fans are focused on the candidates vying for the hot seat of the president, to replace Tan Sri Hamidin Mohd Amin, who is not seeking re-election after holding the position since 2018.
