As soon as the proceedings were over, the accused was taken out of the court area accompanied by five police vehicles with heavily tinted mirrors.

Police have arrested a man alleged to have fatally beaten his wife with a dumbbell out of jealousy in an incident at a house on Jalan Sungai Congkak, Shah Alam, yesterday.

Afendi Muhammad Agus @ Muhamed Ali, 42, was charged in the magistrate's court, here, today with two counts of murdering his parents at their home last Saturday.
