Fourteen individuals believed to be followers of the teachings of Millah Ibrahim were charged with possession of religious publications contrary to the true teachings of Islam and for disobeying religious authorities.

On June 1, 2017, Zulfarhan was found with burn marks and bruises in an apartment in Serdang at about 8pm and was pronounced dead at about 10pm at the Serdang Hospital.

The Court of Appeal today reduced the 34-year prison sentence of a man convicted of physical sexual assault of his three young daughters to 26 years.
