MyWatch chairman Datuk R. Sri Sanjeevan was acquitted and discharged by the Sessions Court today of two counts of making and initiating the transmission of false communications on the PDRM on Twitter, three years ago.

Police confirmed receiving a report by a woman from Kemaman claiming that photographs of herself and her family members have been misused and uploaded in several pornographic videos that have gone viral on social media.

The case is being investigated under Section 500 of the Penal Code (Defamation) and Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998 (Inappropriate use of network facilities and or network services).
