A former private college student was sentenced by the High Court today to three months’ imprisonment and fined RM10,000, in default five months in jail, after pleading guilty to an alternative charge of infanticide.

The driver of the bus, which was carrying 30 kindergarten students and five teachers, that crashed into a tree was today sentenced to seven days in jail and fined RM8,000 by the Magistrate's Court here for dangerous driving.
