The festive spirit has kicked in at Pavilion Bukit Jalil with the recent launch of its “Raya Bersama” event where Malaysians are invited to join its illustrious festive activities this year.

The event features the appearance of popular local cartoon characters Upin and Ipin as well as renowned celebrities, along with shopping rewards and performances to be enjoyed by shoppers from April 9 to May 8.

Chief executive officer of retail for Kuala Lumpur Pavilion and retail planner of Pavilion Bukit Jalil Datuk Joyce Yap said Ramadan and Raya are a special time of the year for Muslims around the world, especially this year as families long to reunite and celebrate the festive season together.

She said there are plenty of family-friendly activities available in addition to the amazing festive deco setup for shoppers to snap memorable photos.

“May this season be blessed with eternal joy and happiness to all who are celebrating,” she said.

The atmosphere was very lively with rustic traditional gazebos strewn with colorful batik, festive lights and palm trees were used to decorate the venue.

Every Saturday, the popular twin characters of Upin and Ipin will be around for a meet and greet session with kids.

The curated booths are set up by celebrities and public figures including Afiq M, Nana Mahazan, Bon Zainal, Rasta Rashid, Datuk Fazley Yaakob and Datin Azrene, Satira Diana and Farah Melissa, Atilia Haron and Qamarina Mohsin.

To heat things up, a festive gift redemption will be rewarded to shoppers starting from a minimum spend of RM50.
