SHAH ALAM – City-developer SkyWorld Development Group (SkyWorld) achieved two significant milestones with the completion of its SkyAwani 3 Residences project – an affordable housing project and the SkyBridge located on the 52nd floor of the building being recognised as the ‘Highest Residential SkyBridge in Malaysia’ by The Malaysia Book of Records.

SkyWorld Chief Executive Officer Lee Chee Seng said they were not only providing a comfortable home for the people but also elevated the lifestyle of the residents at the SkyAwani 3 Residences project in Setapak, Kuala Lumpur.

“With a strong commitment to quality workmanship and comprehensive facilities, our homebuyers will be experiencing an enjoyable sky living experience at SkyAwani 3,” he said during a media night at the brand new building on Friday.

Business Associates were invited to tour the SkyAwani 3 project and celebrate the achievements at the newly recognised ‘Malaysia’s Highest Residential SkyBridge’, 170.55 meters (559.54ft) off the ground, with a splendid display of fireworks and laser show to mark the occasion.

Located on level 52 of the residences’ facilities floor, the 550-meter (1804 ft) long skybridge interconnects all three towers, where residents can enjoy exclusively unobstructed views of the Kuala Lumpur city skyline.

Not only that, residents could also enjoy facilities at the level such as the jogging track, chess games, outdoor fitness and ample spaces to encourage healthy social interaction.

The development comprised 1,905 units and offered a 24-hour, three-tiered security surrounding.

It boasted 22 active and recreational facilities suited for all generations such as a swimming pool with bubble jet jacuzzi, games room, a full basketball court, gym and many more.

These three-bedroom and two-bathroom units with a built-up size of 800 square feet were priced at RM300k and were quickly snapped up as soon as it was launched.

SkyWorld was in full support of the government’s initiative to provide 1 million units of affordable homes by 2029.

SkyWorld has launched 6,236 units of affordable homes and was one of the biggest contributors to ‘Residensi Wilayah Keluarga Malaysia’.

Lee said the Awani Series was cemented as one of the most sought-after affordable homes given its extraordinary value of reasonable price, practical layout, quality workmanship and full-fledged condominium facilities.

Therefore, all its Awani Series were fully booked, and his team is in the planning stage for its sixth instalment.

SkyWorld plans to launch four projects in Kuala Lumpur this year at various strategic locations in Setapak, Cheras, Taman Melawati and Setiawangsa.
