SHAH ALAM: The statements made by Pasir Salak MP Datuk Seri Tajuddin Abdul Rahman today confirm that Pakatan Harapan (PH) and its chairman Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim have enough support from the MPs to takeover Putrajaya in 2018 after the people’s mandate was betrayed through the Sheraton move.

PKR Information chief Datuk Seri Shamsul Iskandar Mohd Akin in a statement said the claims made by several quarters that Anwar had lied when he said that he had strong support on September 22, 2020 was answered through Tajuddin’s revelations today.

“Tajuddin’s statements today had also revealed that there were betrayal and personal agenda which thwarted the efforts to take over Putrajaya.

“We should not give space and compromised with leadership that has been accused and convicted in Court over corrupt practises and malpractices.

“They must have their day in court as the law should be uphold to take its course,” the statement read.

Earlier, Tajuddin made several revelations including claims that MPs were forced by Umno President Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi to support Anwar as the Prime Minister.

Tajuddin, who was recently removed from Umno Supreme Council had also said that Zahid did not strive for the party, but instead fought for his personal agenda to be back in power.
