TANJUNG MALIM - A container lorry driver dies in a tragic crash involving five vehicles at kilometre 382.3 of the North-South Expressway southbound near Behrang here at midnight on Thursday.

In the incident, the rescue team found the 44-year old victim stuck under the container that carried the iron loads.

Slim River Fire and Rescue Station Chief Ahmad Nazirulmubin Narodi said a team of 10 personnel were deployed to the scene as soon as they received the distress call at 12.50am.

"The victim was believed to have been thrown out under the container due to the impact.

“The team took an early safety measure before performing the operation to extricate the victim.
