GE15 (unofficial): Wei Jiet hot on Jeck Seng's tail in Tanjung Piai

TANJUNG PIAI - Muda's Lim Wei Jiet is hot on the tail of incumbent Wee Jeck Seng of Barisan Nasional in the race for the Tanjung Piai parliamentary seat.

As of 8.20pm, Plantation, Industries and Commodities deputy minister Wee leads with 6,362 votes, a mere 33 votes ahead of Muda co-founder Lim, who has garnered 6,329 votes.

Wee won the seat in a by-election in 2019 to deliver what was MCA's second seat in parliament in the previous session.
