I won despite character assassination - Syahredzan Johan

SHAH ALAM – Pakatan Rakyat Bangi candidate Syahredzan Johan said he was glad that Bangi voters did not buy into Perikatan National's (PN) and Pejuang campaign poison.
In his tweet Syahredzan said although both parties had tried to assassinate his character during the 15th general election (GE15) campaign period he was glad that the voters were not swayed.
He said both the PN candidate, Nazrul Hakim Md Nazir and the Pejuang candidate, Annuar Salleh had tried to make the people of Bangi think he was a bad person, " Alhamdulillah, the people of Bangi still choose me,” he said referring to his win in Bangi.
Syahredzan won the seat with a majority of 67,701 votes. The Bangi seat saw an eight-cornered fight between Syahredzan, Hoh Hee Lee Barisan Nasional, Muhammad Nazrul Hakim ,Perikatan Nasional Annuar Salleh ,Pejuang Chee Chee Meng,Parti Rakyat Malaysia,Suthan Mookaiah ( Independent )Muhammad Fauzi Hakim (Independent) and Jamal Hisham Hashim (Independent).
