BN, PH leaders meeting at Umno headquarters

KUALA LUMPUR - It is believed that several Barisan Nasional (BN) and Pakatan Harapan (PH) leaders are having a meeting at the Umno headquarters at Menara Dato' Onn, today

Among the first to arrive at the building were Umno's Datuk Seri Johari Abdul Ghani and MCA secretary-general Chong Sin Woon.

Yesterday, PH and BN leaders have had a meeting at the Seri Pacific Hotel, here, in the morning.

It was said that the meeting was held to finalise the cooperation between the two coalitions to form a new government.

On the same day, Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah granted an extension of the deadline for leaders of political parties and coalitions to inform Istana Negara of the agreed combination of political parties to form the next government and to submit the name of the prime minister candidate.

The deadline which was supposed to be at 2pm, yesterday, has been extended to 2pm, today.

The extension was granted upon the request by some political parties.
