SHAH ALAM - Sembrong MP Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein insists he is not involved in any plans to form a cooperation with Pas as claimed in a confidential 'PasLeak' document.

The former defence minister said this on the comment section of former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak's Facebook and asserted that he made a statement that denied his involvement in any plan as alleged.

"For Datuk Seri's (referring to Najib) information, I have already denied this 'PasLeak' report which started going viral in April this year as followed," he commented with a hyperlink to his statement made last April.

A post on Najib's Facebook on Friday named several individuals whom he deemed required to give an explanation or make a police report if the contents of the documents were false.

The post had named Pas Vice President Datuk Seri Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar, Datuk Seri Takiyuddin Hassan (Pas Secretary-General), Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad (Parti Pejuang Tanah Air Chairman), Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob (Umno Vice President), Datuk Seri Tajuddin Abdul Rahman (Umno), Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali (Bersatu Supreme Leadership Member) and Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainuddin (Bersatu Secretary-General).

Previously, a number of document clippings went viral on social media with the contents of the meeting minutes involving several Perikatan Nasional (PN) leaders who allegedly planned a strategy to topple Umno and Barisan Nasional (BN).

Kuala Lumpur Police Chief Datuk Azmi Abu Kassim stated that police had opened an inquiry paper to identify the report received from the complainant regarding the 'PasLeak' document which detailed the alleged political planning involving two Pas leaders.
