Park Seo-Jun steals the hearts of Malaysian fans

PETALING JAYA - Upon being named Friend of Milo (Sahabat Milo), South Korean star model Park Seo-Jun has made his way over to greet his Malaysian fans.

Thousands of fans gathered as early as 9 am at the Sunway Pyramid here, well ahead of the "Jom Minum Milo" event that was scheduled to start at 11am.

Park's visit marked the first time the Hallyu star arrived in Malaysia, which made the dreams of his Malaysian fans to interact with the main actor of Itaewon Class come true.

“I heard that Milo is a brand that he is loved by all Malaysians.

"And seeing everyone gathered here today, I can truly feel how much Milo is being loved in Malaysia.

“I will come back and repay them with new dramas,” he said before ending the fanmeeting.

During the event, Park Seo-Jun shared his favourite Milo variant and simulated how he made his favourite Milo 3-in-1 variant at the Jom Minum Milo which received enthusiastic response from the fans.

Meanwhile, Milo Business Unit Business Executive Officer Ng Su Yen expressed her gratitude over the reception by the Malaysian fans at the venue.

“We’re glad that we have the opportunity to bring Sahabat Milo Park Seo-Jun closer to Malaysians here in Malaysia, home to the world’s largest Milo market.

"Anyone who enjoys Milo is a friend of Milo and we are looking to showcase to them just how energetic our Sahabat Milo Park Seo-Jun is,” she said.

Previously, Milo organised a contest where 300 fans were chosen to officially participate in the fan meeting - by purchasing Milo products and 20 of them won the lucky draw for a special signing event with the actor.

It was done one by one and the fans also managed to capture their moments with Park Seo-Jun.

Milo consists of six variants namely Milo 3-in-1, Milo Original, Milo with Whole Grain Cereal, Milo Less Sugar and Milo Hi-Fibre.
