RM11.2 billion unclaimed money as of April 30

KUALA LUMPUR - The Finance Ministry informed that the amount of Unclaimed Money (WTD) managed by the Accountant General Department until April 30 this year reached RM11.2 billion.

Deputy Minister of Finance Datuk Seri Ahmad Maslan said 70 percent of the amount is money in bank accounts that have not been active for seven years or more.
