ALOR GAJAH - A three-minute video showing a two-year-old girl almost being hit by a vehicle near Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Melaka Pindah, Jalan Melaka Pindah went viral last on Wednesday.

In the accident, at about 6.51am, the child had gotten out alone from a car parked on the side of the road and crossed the road, which was busy in both directions.

In the video recorded by a car's dashboard camera, a loud bang was heard, allegedly from a car that was hit by another vehicle, trying to avoid hitting the victim.

The video also shows a man immediately carrying the child before handing it over to a woman who is believed to be the mother of the baby.

It was reported that before the incident, a woman had crossed the road to send her child to school without realising that the victim, who was in the vehicle, had made her way out of the car alone.
