SHAH ALAM- While procuring food supplies through public donations in the Gaza Strip, a Malaysian individual encountered a harrowing moment when an Israeli attack bomb passed overhead.

Nurul Ain Haron, 37, recounted that she and her husband, Mohamed Adan Shaat, were inside a taxi when the incident unfolded.

Fortunately, they both survived the bomb explosion that occurred approximately 50 metres away.

"God alone knows what will happen to us if it (the taxi) travels somewhere else. Alhamdulillah, we are safe, and the locals have received supplies for relief.

"On the eighth day, we have no access to water or electricity, and many people have been displaced from their homes," she said in a video posted on social media yesterday.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported close to 1,000 fatalities in Gaza.

Meanwhile, her husband, Mohamed Adan said that the Israeli assaults in 2023 were even more severe than those in 2014.

He pointed out that during the previous conflict, over 2,800 individuals lost their lives, while this time, more than 10,000 people sustained injuries.
