Carsome and Petronas AutoExpert join hands to deliver superior car care
This collaboration seeks to establish a seamless automotive ecosystem that extends beyond car sales, providing comprehensive support for car owners.

PETALING JAYA – Petronas AutoExpert and Carsome Group Inc have entered into a strategic partnership aimed at enhancing aftersales services across Malaysia.
This collaboration seeks to establish a seamless automotive ecosystem that extends beyond car sales, providing comprehensive support for car owners.
Under this partnership, Petronas AutoExpert has been appointed as Carsome’s Official Partner Workshop.
Carsome will support this initiative through training, internships and workforce development programmes designed to strengthen Petronas AutoExpert’s service centres.
Carsome Academy, the Group’s accredited training institution, will collaborate with Petronas AutoExpert outlets through the Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Apprenticeship Programme.
This program will certify technicians to meet Malaysian standards, focusing on upskilling and reskilling the automotive workforce to meet evolving industry demands while fostering sustainable growth.
The first phase of the partnership will begin on Jan 13, introducing new services at 15 Petronas AutoExpert locations.
Customers will be able to book these services via Carsome's app or website, complementing Carsome’s existing service centres in Ampang and Petaling Jaya.
Carsome also plans to roll out new inspection points at selected Petronas AutoExpert outlets, offering added convenience for customers without access to a nearby Carsome inspection centre.
The partnership was officially sealed with a Memorandum of Understanding signing ceremony at Carsome’s PJ Automall.
“This partnership marks a significant milestone for both Petronas AutoExpert and Carsome.
“Together, we aim to elevate the automotive service experience, delivering unmatched convenience and peace of mind to our customers," Petronas Lubricants Marketing Malaysia Sdn Bhd (PLMM) Chief Executive Officer Mohd Zameer Zahur Hussain said in a statement today.
