She Leads 6, transforming financial anxiety into financial confidence
The event was designed to empower women with the knowledge and tools needed to manage their finances effectively, make informed choices and build a secure future.

SHAH ALAM - Attendees of Sinar Daily's recent She Leads 6: Crowned in Confidence – Smart Money Moves to Thrive Financially event left the show feeling inspired and equipped with invaluable insights, practical strategies and a deeper understanding of financial independence.
The event was designed to empower women with the knowledge and tools needed to manage their finances effectively, make informed choices and build a secure future.

For Art Director Assila Mazlan, 34, attending She Leads was a significant personal achievement.
“I’m currently taking an extended career break due to mental health challenges, and I was uncertain about attending the event today. However, my friend encouraged me to go,” she said.
“Attending this event was a big step for me.”
“The event provided me with valuable insights into financial literacy, and I really connected with what the speakers were saying about identifying financial gaps,” she said at the event held at Karangkraf Complex recently.
University of Wollongong Malaysia lecturer Dr Muhammad Naim Muhamad Ali, 30, also found the discussion on financial struggles within low-income households particularly resonant.

“One key takeaway was that financial hardship is often systemic, not an individual’s fault,” said Dr Muhammad Naim.
“Many people lack the resources and connections needed to escape their situation. This discussion made me realise the importance of creating a more inclusive financial education system.
“I also believe that there should be more events like this for low-income communities and university students who would benefit from this knowledge,” he added.
Meanwhile, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia orthodontist Dr Asma Ashari, 39, found the session enlightening, highlighting the crucial role of financial independence for women.

“Financial planning and discipline are essential for all women, married or not.
“We need to prepare for the future. I learned how small habits, like selling unused items, can generate significant income,” she said when interviewed today.
Similarly, Nurhamizah Zulkifli, 39, a general surgeon at a government hospital, valued the session’s insights.

“The talk highlighted the challenges faced by those in government sectors. Suraya’s discussion on exploring alternative opportunities was eye-opening.
“Zahnita’s emphasis on women’s financial freedom really resonated with me"
“As women, we need to support each other in financial planning to secure a better future,” she said.
With a focus on financial confidence, participants engaged in insightful discussions led by financial expert Suraya Zainudin, founder of Ringgit Oh Ringgit, and supermodel-turned-entrepreneur Zahnita Wilson of Zahnita’s Humble Pie.
Topics covered included the psychology of debt, financial pitfalls and practical strategies to achieve stability.
Beyond financial literacy, She Leads 6 fostered a supportive community where participants shared experiences, networked and gained practical knowledge to navigate financial challenges.
The event also featured a hi-tea session, curated goodie bag and an exclusive lucky draw, with the grand prize of return flight tickets to Seoul.
She Leads 6 proved to be an inspiring and transformative experience, equipping women with the tools and motivation to take charge of their financial future with confidence and clarity.
