Azrin also urged road users to comply with traffic laws and ensure their vehicles are in good condition before driving.

"Regardless of whether you are riding a motorcycle, driving a car, or operating a lorry, always check that your vehicle is roadworthy.

“This includes maintaining proper tyre tread, adequate air pressure, and ensuring all lights and indicators function properly," he said.

He also advised motorists to plan their journeys, avoid rushing, and ensure they are well-rested before driving.

"Do not drive when drowsy or under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Additionally, always respect other road users to prevent accidents," he added.
