KUALA LUMPUR - Bernama Head of Radio Azlan Idris died at Kuala Lumpur Hospital (HKL) early this morning.

Family members confirmed the passing of Azlan, 57, who was among the earliest individuals to join Bernama Radio following its establishment in 2007.

Throughout his service, Azlan played a pivotal role in shaping the operational direction of the radio station.

He was also instrumental in formulating strategies to ensure the sustainability and competitiveness of Bernama Radio amid mounting challenges faced by the national broadcasting industry following the rapid expansion of digital technology. - BERNAMA
