Police have arrested 10 local men in a series of raids to assist in investigations into the case of a man being hacked to death in front of a restaurant in Pekan Nanas, Pontian on May 21.

A man who shot his younger brother dead and threatened to shoot anyone approaching their house compound in Kampung Kangkawang, Tenom, on Sunday, was shot dead by the police.

Christopher said the body was sent to Melaka Hospital for a post-mortem, and the case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.

Parts of a woman’s body, believed to have been dismembered, were discovered at a rubbish disposal site in Indah Permai here this morning.
