An elderly man lost RM469,875 after falling victim to a fraudulent investment scheme advertised on the social media platform TikTok.

Syamsul Haris died on July 28 at Kota Tinggi Hospital in Johor after undergoing training at the Army Combat Training Centre in Ulu Tiram.

The inspection confirmed that the object was a homemade bomb.
