The Malaysian MAS-01 SMART and MAS-10 teams, in a search and rescue effort following the deadly earthquake in Turkey. - BERNAMA

SMART MAS-01 search and rescue operations officer (SAR) Insp Muhamad Zul Khairi Idris says the first victim - a teenage boy - was taken out at 1.20 pm (6.20 pm Malaysian time) almost brought the team into tears.

The second Malaysian rescue team (MAS-10) deployed to assist in the SAR for Turkiye earthquake victims who already arrived in Gaziantep on Thursday evening, is still unable to enter ground zero due to logistics problems. - BERNAMA
